Take a look at our first episode of Coffee & Kicks where we dive into how the Travis Scott Jordan 1's have influenced other Nike releases while also checking out our neighborhood coffee shop Copa Vida.
I just vacationed in Mexico City and was blown away. I've traveled throughout Mexico, including Tulum, Cabo, and the areas south of Tijuana, but Mexico City is in a league of its own. The city's overall vibe is similar to that of Europe, yet at a fraction of the price. There are streetwear stores all over the place but oddly enough I barely saw anyone wearing streetwear. Many of the times I was the only person in the store. That's fine though because I was able to buy a bunch of Jordan's that had not released in the States yet without a hassle.
Soul was my favorite shop to visit because I was able to score so many pairs there. One of them was the Pollen Jordan 1 low, which had not yet been released in the United States. I was able to pay for my entire trip with the proceeds from just a few pairs of these. There were many other pairs that weren't crazy rare but were profitable. I grabbed a few sizes of Neutral Grey Jordan 1 lows, UNC Jordan 1 Lows, Football Grey Dunk High's, those orange Jordan 1 High's that could be considered "SBB" but aren't and a few others. I actually had to grab a few suitcases to bring everything I bought back home.
It was so profitable that I began looking into real estate there just so I could return and buy more shoes! The only negative aspect of the trip was the weather. I guess it was the rainy season and I had no idea. I only brought one pair of shoes and I beat the shit out of them. Lesson learned.
Our Rosewood El Nino Tee has arrived just in time for the Playoffs! Wait... The Padres didn't make it? Well I guess you can save it to wear next year or wear it to root on the Giants to beat the Dodgers, I guess. When designing this shirt we wanted to reference early No Limit and Cash Money album covers as well as something we'd wear to support the neighborhood team. You can buy it now on our website as well as in store!. Buy it now here.
Have you ever watched a sneaker review on Youtube? Pretty cringe right? We are attempting to give an honest opinion about some of the most hyped up releases. I do not want to hate on every pair but if the shoe fits (good joke, I know). Hopefully we'll be getting out a few videos per month so follow our YouTube Channel here. Also click here if you're interested in buying any Off-White Dunks from us.

I originally didn't really understand NFT's. I couldn't get over the fact that to own something that wasn't tangible would be a good investment. I then proceeded to get hooked on NBA Top Shots and then my tune changed. I originally went to school for Art and when I started Rosewood it was actually an art gallery which happened to sell shoes. It then evolved into what it is today, but I always wanted to get back into the art world.
NFT's are a way for me to get back to my roots, but won't be nearly as time consuming as doing an oil painting. It will also make it so more people will be able to get a hand on my art and also support Rosewood from afar. I have been doing the social media edits for Rosewood for years so had plenty of content that I can upload as a proof of concept. I hope to have some of you follow along the journey. The first collection will be 1000 or less NFT's with minimum floors just to get the name out and gauge the interest. Later on this year I hope to release another collection that's more graphic design related. You can get updates from our Discord and follow along.

I know what you're thinking. Who reviews a 6 year old shoe? This guy does. Most shoe reviews happen right when a pair is released or maybe before it's released at all. How would you be able to properly give your stamp of approval on something without testing it out under different conditions? The Yeezy 950 was not the most popular Yeezy release when it came out in 2015 but it might be the only one that will stand the test of time.
I am not a huge boot guy by any means and I am not a crazy outdoor person either. I think the last boot I owned was a pair of Timberlands in high school to go with a Mitchell & Ness Jersey and a fitted. I basically dressed like I was the lost member of Dipset. Let me get back on topic and reiterate that these boots have held up. If you need a stylish all weather boot to wear when you're out hunting or going cross country in the snow I would give these 4.5 out of 5 stars.
I think we can all admit that 2020 sucked. One of the only upsides was the sneaker releases. This is a list of my top 10 releases of the year. This is not a list of the shoes that I think were the best releases but of the 10 that dominated the headlines. These are the pairs that popped into my head when I think of 2020. Sad to say this but 2020 was controlled by Nike. I don't have a pair from any other brand. The eleventh best shoe release of 2020 would probably be the Yeezy foam runner but other than that I couldn't think of any other brands that released anything worth writing about. O well.
10. CHunky dunk
Ugly but people seem to like them.
9. Stussy Spiridon
Most underrated of the year.
8. off-white jordan 5's
Virgil does the bare minimum again and succeeds.
7. Grateful Dead dunks
No one that wears these have ever dropped acid at a Dead show but it's whatever.
6. union jordan 4's
Everyone hated them at first but now what?
5. Travis Scott dunk
Not a Travis style fan but the materials were nice.
4. strangelove nike dunk
I like these.... I guess.
3. Off- White Jordan 4
Best Off White release... Jordan wise.
2. Dior Jordan 1
Can you imagine spending 10k on these when they dropped? Must be nice being part of the 1%. If you ever think about buying these, let me know and I'll tell you about some stocks instead.
1. mocha jordan 1
Hear me out. The Mocha 1 is a general release and was not the most expensive shoe but is definitely our most requested pair. Easily affordable so it won't break the bank yet it will probably go up in value do to its wearability. All the other shoes on this list because of their contemporary approach but you're not going to be able to wear a pair of Chunky Dunks all the time. The Mochas may become timeless.

Hello everyone! You might be wondering where all our products are? Well, we made a new page for that. There is a link that says "Store" that takes you directly to a webpage we made specifically for our..wait for it... store. We had to do it to make it easier for us to keep track of our inventory. We have been growing exponentially since Covid started as weird as that sounds. We had to pivot a little so this main page will be our blog and for our customers to contact us. Click Store to shop. It's simple!
