- We are operating at a reduced capacity of 20% per CA government regulations.
- You MUST WEAR A MASK UPON ENTRY. (Over the nose. Over the mouth.) We are able to refuse service & entry if entered without compliance.
- Hand sanitizer available throughout the store & surfaces are disinfected regularly to ensure safety.
- Zero-contact payment methods are available and encouraged.
What does consignment mean?
- We sell other people’s shoes, clothing, & collectables and collect a seller's fee from the final sales price.
- We utilize our platforms to promote & sell your item.
How does pricing work?
- Rosewood staff can assist with pricing; however, the consignor ultimately sets the price of the item. Depending on the item, our staff may be able to negotiate final sales prices.
I want to sell my shoes through Rosewood. How does the pricing work?
- You set the price and we take a portion of the final sale. Our consignment fee 25% on clothing & accessories and 20% on shoes.
- We can refuse to take any item we don’t see fit to sell.
- Only authentic sneakers will be accepted. NO FAKES.
Do you buy shoes?
- Short answer: Depends on the owner! Come to Rosewood at 11:00am weekdays to inquire with the owner.
- Long answer: If the sneaker is new and a quick sell, we will likely buy it. Research the sneaker's popularity & resale value ahead of time prior to coming to Rosewood.
- For used shoes, We are more inclined to consider high value quick sell shoes. For example Jordan 1 Chicago.
How do I start becoming a consignor?
- Come into the shop WITH YOUR VALID ID and we will begin drafting a contract. There is no limit to how many to start with; however, the items are it must remain in the shop for a minimum of 1 month (30 days) to avoid a pick-up fee. Any items picked up before the 1 month period will be charged a fee of $10.00.
- With every contract a shared document is created with all the necessary information about your items, it’s selling status, and pay-out scheduling.
When will I know my items sold?
- Our team updates the sold items in every consignor's document daily. This document allows you to check the status of your items.
When do I get paid out?
- Within two weeks of the payment request & typically no longer than 30 days. It’s up to you depending on your amount of items sold, if you want to be paid out per item at a time or in a lump sum. Always refer to your consignment document or refer to rosewoodsandiego.com for pay out scheduling.
- Our default payment is check but other forms of payment can be made if requested. (No CASH APP)
How long can my shoes stay at the shop?
- Maximum duration of 1 year. Then we contact you to pick up your items or you can renew your contract to stay longer. If your item stays at the shop longer than a year, by legal contract, the item is under our ownership unless renewed.
Do you sell designer brands?
- No.
Can I come in anytime to drop off items?
- We prefer if you schedule an appointment through our website or send a DM through our instagram. Please clean any used items prior to bringing them to Rosewood. Cleaning sneakers makes for a better sell and it helps us help you.
Do you do trades?
- Depends on the owner & and if you are a current consignor with us.
How does Credit work?
- If we owe you for your items that have been sold, you can use that credit towards other items in the store.
- The best way we recommend is through Instagram DM or send your questions to inquiry@rswdsd.com. It’s the quickest ways to get a response from the Rosewood Team.
Do you do buy-outs?
- Yes occasionally; however, any buy-outs are at the discretion of the owner. Contact him directly through Instagram to inquire about a possible buy-out.
